29/30 November 1940: The London Underground on this day 75 years ago

Eighty-fourth day of the London Blitz.

District line services between Southfields and Wimbledon suspended for ten minute from 19:52 due to incendiary bombs on the adjacent Southern Railways tracks.[1]

A guard by the name of Baldwin was hospitalised due to head injuries caused by shrapnel at South Kensington station at 00:45 on the 30th.[2]

At 08:00 on the 30th, the following working conditions were reported:
